Meet Corey

Corey Harris is a very passionate empowerment speaker, mentor, and published author of the phenomenal book “Poetic Pleasures and Treasures.”

 Over the past four years, he has spoken to and uplifted others at schools, churches, and various youth functions.  He is the creator of The EMPOWER Our Youth Extravaganza, and Difference Maker Mentoring With Corey Harris. Here are some of the places where Corey has delivered his inspiring message: Terrebonne High School, Oaklawn Jr. High School, a Diggy Simmons Concert, New Rising Sun Baptist Church, Central Lafourche High School, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Andrew Price Alternative School, East Street Alternative School, The 1st and 2nd Annual EMPOWER Our Youth Extravaganza, Acadian Elementary School, and The Terrebonne Parish Juvenile Detention Center. One of Corey’s signature original quotes is:
